I know it has been quite some time since I have last written to you all, but I wanted to take some time this morning to let you all know where things are at for 2012!!

The days have been a bit of a blur since my dear brother & friend Michael Wells’ passing in October 2011. Dealing with his loss, making adjustments because of that, and the ministry which really got busy in November and December in the office, conferences and counseling, preaching in Manitoba and Alberta in January of 2012, and then we also had Tracy’s sister who had a baby in December 2011 but passed away in January 2012 because of heart problems and we were away being a support to her sister and husband wherever we could help. As I have come into February, hardly believing we are a week into it already, I am finding my way forward. My head is still spinning a little if I am to be honest, my body somewhat weary, but my heart is at peace as our Wonderful God continues to draw my focus back to Him where all of us will always find our peace within us where HE Lives!! It is one of the most important messages that we share within Abiding Life Ministries to keep our eyes on Him. As we do this, we will find that HE was moving us forward the whole time…Wonderful!!

I am in the office for the month of February which was unexpected as Mike’s wife Betty of ALMI had asked if I would be willing to help out with conferences in 2012 as Mike had many bookings. But because of ALMI being so so busy after Mike’s passing for obvious reasons, and not getting to their 2012 bookings until January, most of the places cancelled as they though there were no other options now that Mike was gone. Mike had about 4 conferences lined up for February but they all cancelled which freed up my February.

We are just now putting together our 2012 schedule as we committed first to helping ALMI out wherever we could and awaited on them to get back to us. Funny enough, as it ends up, I am not needed as much as was once thought as Tim Lester who is from the States was able enough to clear his schedule to help ALMI…which is good for us in many ways as we are going to go ahead with our original plans for 2012.

I was to be in India in January but we postponed that trip because of what I said above and now have rescheduled that trip which also includes Pakistan for April/May. And then we are looking to push the South America Trip to June/July. Of course we also have some conferences planned here in Canada for March; one in Edmonton, AB and another possibly in Theodore, SK. I have been asked to speak at another camp already in July in Luseland, AB and will be looking forward to that. I will be in B.C. in the middle of March officiating a wedding for the oldest son of one of our regular supporters and I also was pastor to Brad for many years when I was out in B.C. I am looking forward to doing this as it has been exciting seeing the Lord doing such a wonderful work in his life. I then have been asked to speak in Coquitlam, B.C. the following Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church. A church in Richmond, B.C. has asked me to do a conference at their church but my schedule is full for this trip and will come back again in 2012 and work in the conference then!! In November of this year I am booked in Denmark for 2 full weeks of conferences and counseling and in Austria for 1 week of preaching, conference, and counseling. I will be possibly in Germany as well and potentially Turkey but those two places are still in the works!

It is exciting for me to continually watch the Lord’s Provision in our lives…not just financially, but also in spreading me around getting the message to where HE wants to send me…I am so encouraged. I love that the Lord continues to provide opportunities for me to share this message as I really need to hear it again and again and again…it is truly Wonderful!!
